With the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend approaching, many of us are reaching for our diaries to check exactly what time off work we get this year.

You will be happy to know that June will start with a second four-day weekend this year, as we all get an extra bank holiday due to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Below you can find listed all the upcoming Bank Holidays in England and Wales in 2022.

• Friday 15^th April – Good Friday
• Monday 18^th April – Easter Monday
• Monday 2^nd May – Early May Bank Holiday
• Thursday 2^nd June – Spring Bank Holiday
• Friday 3^rd June – Platinum Jubilee Bank Holidays
• Monday 29^th August – Summer Bank Holiday
• Monday 26^th December – Boxing Day
  Tuesday 27^th December – Christmas Day (substitute day)
  

We all get yet another four-day weekend this year over Christmas. As Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, it will be substituted for the next working weekday – Tuesday 27^th December.
