Christmas has been and gone, and now many of us are left counting the days until the next break in the work calendar. Unfortunately, this year we are back down to eight bank holidays, and we’ve already had one of those!
Below you can find a list of all the bank holidays in England and Wales during 2024:
- 1st January – New Year’s Day
- 29th March – Good Friday
- 1st April – Easter Monday
- 6th May – Early May bank holiday
- 27th May – Spring bank holiday
- 26th August – Summer bank holiday
- 25th December – Christmas Day
- 26th December – Boxing Day
Make sure you book your annual leave in early this year and plan to make the most of those long weekends! Don’t get caught out, as most employers only allow you to carry over a certain amount of annual leave to the next year.
